Sydney is a big cosmopolitan city! It is also the Capital of New South Wales. There are a lot of things to do and sites to see in Sydney, the very well known is the Sydney Opera house and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

We didn't hire any tour guides or joined in any group tours. We simply studied the map and went to see it ourselves. Of course, We went to see the famous Opera house and the Harbour Bridge first. Around the area are cozy cafes and restaurants. My husband and I had coffee in one of the cafes while enjoying the view and watching the people passing by. Transportation in Sydney is totally not a problem, they have taxis, subway, small ferries and water taxis that will bring you to any part of the city. After strolling around the Opera house, on the other side of water is an Amusement park. We took the small ferry to take us into the amusement park to investigate the place. It was quite small and even though we love amusement parks so much, this is too tutti-nutti (childish) for us, we just left the place! Since it was the Mardi Gras season, we went out to party at night. There are a lot people dressing up for the occasion!!! It was really fun and we ended up partying at 3 in the morning.
We spent our second day at Circular Quay to see the mini zoo and the Sydney aquarium, Circular Quay is also a nice place with a lot of cool restaurants. We also went to see the highest tower in the city, the Sydney Tower. On top of the tower, you could see 360 degrees of Sydney. And the bottom of tower is a big shopping mall, Westfield. Most of the International Luxury brands were there and as well as Australian brands. A lot of sale when we were there but the shop that really caught my eye is Voi. It's an outlet shop not far from Westfield with lots of luxury brands but in very good prices (mostly 40-70 % off). I love shopping so much but I don't want to spend too much money on clothes. I like luxury brands but at the same time, it would be happiness if I find an outlet shop. I love discounts!
I found a lot of nice things in the shop but I ended up buying the BLUMARINE sweater and Blugirl for BLUMARINE skirt. Can you imagine both from Blumarine and all made in Italy and I only got them for 80USD each. Supposedly it was 99USD but the manager lowered the price for me. I was actually the first costumer of the newly opened branch. The skirt's material is made of chiffon and lace with a very cute rose print (perfect for spring/summer) and the sweater is made up of cotton. It was one of the best buys I ever had....:)

On the third day, we went to St. Mary's Cathedral, stroll around the park and went to see the museum. I also went to buy some of the Australian souvenirs. A must!!! for my mother dear... We had such a great time in Sydney and New South Wales, I could say my husband and I had a blast Down Under.
