The reason why they are sold cheap here is because a lot of these brands are manufactured here. Haven't you noticed that most clothes now are Made in Vietnam???
But also one advice, don't shop at shopping malls- they are much, much more expensive!!! And also Luxury Brands, whoooh!!! They're more expensive than in Europe.
These outlet shops are found in the Russian Market (Lucky Plaza), Taka Plaza and Saigon Square.
And yesterday, I went shopping for my European vacation next month. So excited!!! ;) Apparently it's still winter in Europe, so I bought a new pair of boots, skinny jeans, Juicy Couture Velour Hoodie, Victoria's Secret top and Victoria's Secret make-up kit.... ;)

ReplyDeleteNo, but you can buy Victoria's secret stuff like lingerie, top, etc at the market called Taka Plaza (Le Loi street). Some of their products like lingerie, pouch and top are made in Vietnam.

ReplyDeleteHi there. Sorry for the late reply! :) Just came back from Holiday. Anyway, there is no Victoria's Secret shop in Saigon but you can find it like in a beauty store. But the best and cheap place to find Lotion and Perfumes is in Ben Thanh Market. SOME of the stall there are selling real but some are fake so you have to be really careful. Most of these beauty stalls are mainly in the center of the market but I suggest you go behind as they are cheaper and real. And please HAGGLE because they normally double the price if you are a foreigner. When I first came to Vietnam, it was very expensive because I'm a foreigner but then I learned that the trick is if they say a price, tell them you are only interested to pay half or 2/3 of it. Also if you are the FIRST customer even though the price you say is 1/10 of the real price, they will say yes because it's bad luck for them to say no to the first customer especially if you are a female. :) Hope this helps

DeleteWell it depends. Some are authentic, some are not so you have to be really careful in choosing them. However, you will know if it's fake since the quality is really bad. But if you want brands like Zara or Under Armour, go to Russian Market (Cho Nga) in Vo Van Kiet St. Most of the brands you mentioned above are authentic in Russian Market. :)
Outlet Malls are here to provide you location of your nearest Forever 21 Outlet Stores . You eaily get location of any stores like Nike, Apple, Walmart, Bank of America, Walgreens, Home Depot etc..

ReplyDeleteHi, yes there are. Actually you can buy Michael Kors and Jennier Lopez clothes, bags, in the market mentioned above. On the second floor of Taka Plaza, the first stall on the left sells only original MK apparels.
